Tip for the month of May - Safety Tip #1
Wrong adjusted seats and mirrors can influence your driving ability and your vision on traffic and can cause life threatening situations for you and others. Always check the position of your seat, steering wheel and mirrors before you start driving. Well adjusted seats in combination with your steering wheel let you sit comfortably and make it easier for you to react quickly in unexpected situations, enabling you better control with steering and/or braking. This can make the difference between a narrow escape and an accident. Well adjusted mirrors reduce blind spots greatly and give you the best vision on the traffic at the left and right side of your vehicle, as well as behind you. This will help you to avoid life threatening situations.
Tip for the month of June - Safety Tip #2
Functioning lights for your car are of the essence to avoid life threatening situations in traffic!? Don’t forget to do a simple safety check periodically. Turn on all the lights and walk around the vehicle to ensure that they are in working order and that the lenses are clean and clear. Also, be sure to check your blinkers and breaking lights for proper operation!??
Tip for the month of July - Safety Tip #3
Did you know that dirty windshields cause drivers to crash twice as often compared to driving with a clean windshield? Cleaning your car’s windshield (inside and out) is one of the easiest and most important car care jobs you can do yourself. Use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe down the inside of your windshield. Next, spray the entire surface with an automotive glass cleaner, and wipe again with the clean side of your cloth. A tip from other car owners is to use vinegar as a glass cleaner and to wipe afterwards with newspaper!
Tip for the month of August - Safety Tip #4
IMPORTANT: protect the underbody of your car from moisture, salt, chemicals, dirt, grime and all other elements that can cause corrosion of metal and may even damage critical parts of your vehicle. This area is exposed to many harsh elements and is one of the most inaccessible areas to clean on a regular basis, which could lead to costly repairs!? We would recommend thinking about getting an undercoat to protect your vehicle!
